Our Practice

Located in the heart of downtown Ponoka, Ponoka Physiotherapy & Acupuncture Clinic is like no other medical or physiotherapy office. The environment at Ponoka Physiotherapy is one of energy and vibrancy. Our goal is to get you moving again, be it after an injury or an accident or any sort of disorder. We treat and prepare you as if you are planning for a major sporting event, whether that event could be as simple as needing to walk a block painfree again.

Meet our wonderful professionals:

Cal David P.T., CAFCI

Cal David graduated in South Africa in 1988. He has practised in South Africa and in England and before moving to Canada. He has worked both in hospitals and in private practice and has owned Ponoka Physiotherapy & Acupuncture Clinic since 1996.
Cal acquired his certificate to practice acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada in 1996 and has since has successfully incorporated acupuncture into his physiotherapy practice.
Cal has served as clinical associate professor at the University of Aberta - faculty of rehabilitation.
Two young children keep him busy as he involves himself in their sport but he still finds time for golf and soccer officiating.

Rosemarie Bailer

Our office manage will be more that pleased to assist you with any questions that you may have regarding booking and reimbursement from insurance companies for your treatmenst received.
Rosemarie is also well-versed with the Automobile Insurance policies and with Worker's Compensation Board Claims.

Support Staff

Our support staff, comprising Tanis Stevens, Alex Josephison and Allison Beier, assists our clients both in the treatment area as well as with office duties
